Clean files make quoting faster, reduce avoidable redraw time and help prevent surprises during machining. If you are not sure whether your file is ready, send what you have with dimensions, material and finish notes and we will review it before quoting correction work.

JPEG, PNG and screenshots are useful as visual references, but they are not production-ready CNC files.
Use closed paths, remove duplicate or overlapping lines and convert text to outlines.
Clearly separate profile cuts, pockets, drill points and engraving using named layers or colours.
State material, thickness, quantity, finish, finished faces, critical dimensions and the maximum part size in millimetres.
Internal corners inherit the cutter radius. Say if parts must fit together and whether dog-bone relief or clearance is needed.
Send a Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or similar link that allows the file to be viewed or downloaded. Screenshots are useful references, but the production file still needs to be supplied or redrawn.
Include the project name, revision and units in the file name where practical. If there are multiple versions, identify which one should be quoted.
Cleanup, redrawing or unclear artwork can be quoted as CAD time before production begins.
