This guide explains what helps a quote. It is not a contract negotiation and you do not need final artwork, completed data files or final wording to make the first enquiry.
Share the event type, event date, required-on-site date, rough quantities, venue/client postcode, budget band and the package or pieces you are considering.
Useful starting points include table numbers, letter drops, welcome or sign-in pieces, displays, personalised games, guest gifts and place details.
If you already know names, dates, initials, wording or style notes, include them. Final data can be confirmed later when the quote and timing are clearer.
Final artwork is not needed for the first enquiry. If logos or brand artwork are later used, the client must have permission to use them.
The written quote confirms scope, cost, timing, production requirements and dispatch method. Production starts only after the required approval and payment are in place.
Work is delivered locally where agreed or sent by courier. Direct-to-client or venue dispatch can be packed without Woodn't It Be Cool branding.
Changes to wording, names, quantities, finish or timing after approval can affect cost and production dates.
