CNC machining terms

These terms explain how quote-led CNC machining work is handled. The accepted written quotation controls the final project scope, price, finish, timing and delivery method.

Quotes, payment and approval

Quotes are normally valid for 14 days. Production starts only after written acceptance, file or proof approval and the payment required by the quotation. Larger or unusual projects may need separately agreed payment terms.

Materials

All launch materials are supplied by Woodn't It Be Cool. Material costs, availability, thickness, flatness and surface condition can vary and may affect the final quote.

Tolerances and fit

A typical machining tolerance of +/-0.5 mm is achievable on suitable sheet material, but critical fits must be identified before quotation. The customer is responsible for confirming dimensions, clearances and suitability for the intended use.

Finish definitions

Unfinished parts receive only the quoted basic clean-up. Primer-ready work is prepared for a customer topcoat, not supplied as a final decorative finish. Structural plywood may show grain, laminations and edge voids.

Artwork and design rights

The customer is responsible for having permission to use any supplied artwork, logos or designs. File correction, redrawing and design work are chargeable unless expressly included.

Changes and cancellation

Changes after setup, material purchase or production may incur costs. Bespoke or personalised work may not be cancellable once production has begun, except where statutory rights apply.

Delivery, inspection and access

Delivery is quoted separately. Local delivery assumes suitable access and a kerbside or accessible ground-floor handover unless otherwise agreed. Customers should inspect goods promptly and report damage or shortages quickly.

Limitations

No installation, structural engineering certification or exterior-weatherproof guarantee is included unless the written quotation expressly says so. Nothing in these terms affects statutory rights. This page is practical trading guidance and should be legally reviewed as the service grows.
